Essential to achieving the ambitious goals of this strategic plan will be completing the $500 million target for the comprehensive campaign by the end of the Our Path to Greatness 2018-2022 strategic plan.
With the ambitious goals that Chapman has in looking ahead to 2037, it will also be important to increase endowed giving as part of the comprehensive campaign, 加强校友, parent and volunteer engagement and bolster development support for Chapman’s schools and colleges.

Initiatives completed to achieve goal:
- Launched the public phase of the comprehensive campaign, Inspire: The Campaign for 澳门威尼斯人app下载大学, with $315 million raised as of February 2023.
- $370 million raised as of February 1, 2024.
- Experienced a record-breaking fundraising year in 2022-2023.
- Created the “12 Gifts of Chapman” campaign featuring a series of transformational gifts to amplify Chapman’s momentum on a national scale, with the intention of highlighting one transformational gift per month. The Gifts of Chapman campaign will conclude at the end of February 2024 after receiving 18 such gifts.
- Raised a record amount for the endowment in a single year in 2022-2023.
- 17,637 donors have given to the comprehensive campaign.
- 73,647 donations made to the comprehensive campaign.
- Established several new endowed, named faculty professorships and chairs in Accounting, 经济学, 自由企业, 意大利研究, 新闻, 法律, 数学, 哲学, 物理, Presidential Studies and other areas.
- Secured naming gifts for academic colleges, schools and centers to support academic excellence including the Argyros College of Business and 经济学, Burra School of Accounting and Finance, 机灵B. Henley School of Management and Ferrucci Institute for Italian Experience and 研究.
- Raised tens of millions of dollars to support faculty research and programs such as the Thompson Policy Institute’s Initiative on Inclusive Education, the Anne and Chris Flowers 家庭 Endowed Doctoral Fellowship, the Henley Fund for Innovation, and the Fletcher Jones 教师 研究 Fellows, 等.
- 支持ed transformational campus projects including the Sandi Simon Center for Dance and the expansion of the Hilbert Museum of California Art, 等.
- Raised tens of millions for student scholarships including a $10 million endowment for Kennedy Scholarships for Fowler School of 法律 students and millions to support the Virginia Carson, Ph.D. Endowed Student 研究 Award, the Wall 家庭 Scholarship, and the Westcombe STEM Scholarship, 等.
- Raised millions to support critical student needs including by establishing endowments for the Panther Pantry and the Women of Chapman Student Hardship Assistance Fund as well as the Kennedy 体育运动 Endowment.
